Partially

Please comment:

The Lloyd George Ave cycle path is a poor surface, always has cars parked in it and is completely disjointed from the crossings. Also, why hav ethose lights on each junction, there is barely any traffic on them. Take them out and put zebra crossings on them.

Please prioritise the James St route, the Penarth Road to magic roundabout route and the route out the port entrance roundabout so it can be linked to Ocean Way... Thanks

As a cyclist, I tend to avoid the cycle path down Lloyd George Avenue and instead use the bus lane. That particular cycle lane is often scattered with broken glass, has cars/vans parked on it, as well as pedestrians walking. The bus lane is wide and visible, and very few buses/cars go down it particularly on my commute to and from work.

I can't see any solid red lines?

Pedestrians behave as if the road/cycle route outside Coffi Co is pedestrianised, and just walk onto the road without looking - so many near misses. Same with the cycle lane as it goes from the bike rental place up to the skatepark - parents seem to think it's a place to dump kids on various wheeled toys. And the part that goes from the skatepark up to the barrage, that's supposed to be for bikes and cars only - it's rather difficult to navigate when large families and groups of pushchair-wielding mothers walk along it side-by-side taking up all the space like a plodding chorus line.

How can I comment when it's not clear what is being done? Are these routes replacing roads?

Why have walking/cycling routes along both Schooner Way AND the side of Bute East Dock? Just upgrade the dock route, which I hope means fixing all the bumps where roots are pushing the ground up, and leave Schooner Way for cars. Also causing traffic chaos by giving an entire lane of Tyndall Street to cycling is not acceptable, just because you think it "discourages car use". The traffic was backed up onto the roundabout as I tried to get from East Tyndall Street to Schooner Way at 3pm on a Tuesday, which is just dangerous. I can't take 6 bags of shopping on a bike!

Almost everything is described as "measures" - that tells me absolutely nothing about what is being proposed.

Why do I get the feeling that the only people who really hear about these surveys and respond to them are members of niche cycling groups and lobbyists, who rubber stamp their approval to all "measures", with few responses from ordinary people?
