Are any solid red lines shown on this section of the map?

Please comment:

Are any solid blue lines shown on this section of the map? Maes-y-Coed Rd west of Ton-yr-Ywen Ave should be shown as a solid blue line as this is an existing route.

3) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking (dashed red line)?

Yes

4) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking and cycling (dashed blue line)?

No

Please comment:

Pedair Erw Rd and Ton-yr-Ywen Ave are too narrow for cycle lanes unless by reducing parking, which I would not support as parking is already problematic.

5) Are there additional routes for walking (existing or proposed) that you think should be shown on the map?

No

If yes, please provide details below:

What distinguishes a route for walking from an ordinary pavement?

6) Are there additional routes for cycling (existing or proposed) that you think should be shown on the map?

Yes

If yes, please provide details below:

Heathway instead of Ton-yr-Ywen Ave provided that parking is not reduced as parking is already problematic in many parts of Heath.

7) Do you agree with the proposals in the schedule of schemes for this ward?

Partially

Please comment, including the relevant scheme reference number(s) in your comments:

Scheme ATS6 is yet to be developed. Also I do not support schemes which reduce parking as this is a problem in many parts of Heath.

1) Do you agree that the existing walking routes shown (solid red line) are currently suitable for walking?

Yes

Please comment:

As are most pavements etc so we don’t need routes it’s common sense

2) Do you agree that the existing cycling routes shown (solid blue line) are currently suitable for cycling?

No

Please comment:

None shown. Maes Y Coed Road already causes more issues than it solves in an already congested area

3) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking (dashed red line)?

No

Please comment:

None shown

4) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking and cycling (dashed blue line)?

No

Please comment:

We don’t need anymore of them and it’s a waste of tax payers money. Where are residents supposed to park that pay not only Council taxes but road taxes also to give a minority of people if any a private road through our area for free? Hospital workers also park in these areas so where are they supposed to park also. We are electing & paying for people to make bad decisions in our area that it won’t impact them in the slightest to tick a few boxes or get grants for brownie points and political gain.

5) Are there additional routes for walking (existing or proposed) that you think should be shown on the map?

Parking for existing cars in this area is already a problem with the hospital so near by so why take out more spaces for residents for a cycle lanes that are already totally under used and a waste of taxpayers and road tax payers money. It will just create more problems for an already densely populated area and clog up the existing roads we have with traffic which will in turn cause more pollution for those who live here

8) Are there any additional schemes you think should be included in the schedule of schemes?

Yes

Please comment, including location information:

A ban on waisting tax payers money. A better Park and Ride system and a recycling and waste disposing site in North Cardiff.

9) Do you have any other comments on the Draft Active Travel Network Map for Cardiff?

Stop cutting bus routes for all of the people who only have it as a means of transport and stop causing issues for people and their residencies for hair brained time and money waisting schemes that will cause more issues than appealing to a few cyclists

One red line and you can walk anywhere really

2) Do you agree that the existing cycling routes shown (solid blue line) are currently suitable for cycling?

No

Please comment:

Causes issues with pedestrians and road traffic hence more pollution

3) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking (dashed red line)?

No

Please comment:

No red dashed line and you can walk anywhere really

4) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking and cycling (dashed blue line)?

Please comment:

Already Maes Y Coed causes issues with traffic in an ever increasing populated area. Trying to put a Cycle lane through an existing busy Yon Yr Ywen Avenue is ridiculous as it’s already used by many Heath Hospital workers due to a lack of parking.Heathway is more suitable as it’s wider but neither really needs one as the same applies with residents and Hospital workers with regards to parking.

In the Heath area we already have issues with an ever increasing population due to new housing etc so why are we wasting money on these cycle routes that hardly ever get used and will increase traffic and pollution not decrease it?
