I haven't walked them, so can't comment.

There aren't any.

I've cycled this section of the Rhymney trail and it's great apart from the bridge over the river at the end of Ball Lane. The gate there is impossible to get through with a trailer, adaptive bike (for disabled people), a tandem and it's even difficult with pannier bags, baskets or child seats. If the council is serious about encouraging families to use active travel routes, then we need to be able to get through the gates and barriers!

There is no solid blue lines in Llanrumney
Traffic is often over the speed limit and parked cars are on the pavement
Speed of traffic, bikes some do not give consideration to others, riding pavement doing wheelys

9) Do you have any other comments on the Draft Active Travel Network Map for Cardiff?
Llanrumney needs to be considered with other developments especially when needing to access other areas of the city. I appreciate there has to be progress but please ensure that the estate is not grid locked with traffic on events days mean there would be difficulties access other parts of the city.
These are pavemented areas so yes, easy to walk

The proposed route is on pavemented area. Is this correct that you are 'Proposing ' people now walk on pavements that are already there and have been in use for many many years?
This is not a new route. It has been there for many years
The path leading from Hartland road to connect to the path that leads to up to rumney gardens. Path over the bridge needs cutting back and the top path that is next to the park and ride needs to be extended to then make a circuit and also needs to be extended so that you can use the subways without getting extremely muddy in inclement weather

I live on browning close and sometimes can not get out of the road/ into the road due to cars on Thackeray being in the way
The lane and bridge over to the back of the church next to the unicorn pub needs to be better. The path that leads around that area neefs to ve improved and widened for runners, walkers and cyclists to be able to travel safely from the back of arnold avenue over to llanederyn village/ st ederyns
Cannot locate any solid blue lines
I feel that the dashed red lines should continue on Elgar crescent until it meets countisbury avenue, then a zebra crossing to interlink with the pathway that runs straight down Sedgemoor hill. This makes walking safe for all children living this side of Llanrumney. This area of Countisbury avenue (where Elgar meets) is a dangerous hotspot and needs attention especially as promoting active travel
Again I feel that the proposed lines have not interlinked with a large section of Llanrumney , there should be more branches making sure all parts have access, maybe continuing down Countisbury avenue where it meets Burnham avenue to Rach all perimeters
Along Ball Road and Burnham avenue to link through to Old St Mellons
