It would be good to see the walking routes using some of Radyr green spaces and encouraging people to walk through them e.g. Dan Y Bryn Woods

I would like to see the dotted blue lines extended so that they connect Radyr & Morganstown via the footbridge over the M4. This would provide an alternative route to the main road running through Radyr. I use this route to take my son/daughter to school in Gwaelod-y-Garth by bike. I would also like to see a cycle lane marked on the B4262 and working speed-cameras in place to enforce the 20mph limit.

Please could you ensure that 'cargo bikes' are considered when planning cycle infrastructure. There is currently huge demand for cargo bikes (often instead of a 2nd car) and I anticipate that we will see a lot more people riding them especially those who live close to the Taff trail. All cycle paths and gates should be able to accommodate these bikes as well as river/rail crossings. Cargo bike parking should also be considered.

The route from Heol Isaf to Radyr station should go along King's Road and not along King's Avenue and Station road which is much steeper. Cyclists are unlikely to use the very steep route along Station road as there is a more gradual climb along King's Road. Exiting King's avenue to cross King's road is difficult as it is difficult to see oncoming traffic on King's Road. The suggested route here is a very poor choice. I agree that there should be a cycle lane on Llantrisant Road but there is no detail as to whether this will be segregated and safe or just a narrow marked strip that will offer little protection.
More cycling routes in Cardiff are very welcome but should offer protection from cars and take the most logical route to encourage people to choose cycling over using the car.
Why is the proposed cycling route going up Station Road, which a narrow, very steep, one way road. King’s Road is a much better alternative, a wide, less steep, more direct route. I would have thought cycling routes would be trying to avoid steep hills where possible. Parking is not necessary on Kings Road, as there is a large underused car park at the bottom. So there would be plenty of room for a two way dedicated cycle path.

What is the point of this? There are pavements on all these roads. What is the point of spending money on designating a walking route???
I don't cycle. Cyclists should have separate routes away from roads. Roads should be for vehicles only for safety reasons

I am more concerned about the lack of infrastructure improvements for vehicles
Stop wasting so much money on these schemes which have so little benefit for so many people
The ones shown look good - although suspect the direct route between Heol Isaf/Llantrisant Rd junction and River Taff is impractical due to gradient.
Morganstown to Coryton Asda/Macdonalds via Gelynis Farm - sees a lot of use in summer by all ages, Needs to be upgraded with lighting, better quality surfaces to improve use all year around.
1 - Gwaelod to Radyr along Heol Isaf. It's silly that Gwaelod kids are close enough to be able to cycle to Radyr Comp but are prevented by the road network so their parents drive them.
2 Morganstown to Taff Trail via Gelynis Farm and also onwards to Coryton Asda
I don't understand what this question means
Keep going - its heartening to see the improvements being rolled out. Can we see them rolled out faster though? Worth remembering that providing better walking and cycling is only part of the equation though - to be truly effective we need to see restrictions on car use too.
