The bricked section of the flyover is in a state of disrepair, and not usable on a bicycle. A physical barrier needs to be placed to sperate the walking and cycle paths along the barrage, I was knocked off my bike by kids playing in the cycle path, I broke 2 ribs, cycle and walking paths should be separated at all times.

St James street desperately needs improvement, the painted bicycle gutter is not fit for purpose, and cars turning into the side streets ignore the lane that is already there I was knocked off my bike and nearly killed by someone doing this at the junction with bute street. Parking in the existing painted bicycle gutter is a real problem on St James street in both directions.

Lloyd George Avenue is often blocked by cars parked in the cycle lane. It should be impossible for that to happen. There are also a lot of side road crossings which make it very slow. Bikes surely ought to be prioritised in the traffic light phasing which is not the case at the moment. There are often a number of pedestrians and bikes waiting to cross and no cars and yet cars get far more green light time. If you want to tempt people out of their cars then active travel needs to be efficient. Sitting for ages at endless crossings or traffic lights is not efficient.

Could you change the gates around the west side of Hamadryad Park and entering Clarence Embankment? There are more and more of us using cargo bikes, trailers and tandems for transporting goods or, in my case, to be able to cycle with young children. I can't get my bike through those gates while towing a trailer or while using a FollowMe Tandem. They will also be inaccessible to some mobility scooters and most adaptive bikes used by disabled people.
