I think Clodien Avenue and Manor Street should be one way streets, the congestions already with motorist trying to bypass the Allensbank Road and miss out the junction of Allensbank Road and Whitchurch Road. This wil help alleviate any extra pressure on llanishen Street cycle lane

2) Do you agree that the existing cycling routes shown (solid blue line) are currently suitable for cycling?

Yes

Please comment:

The existing route in solid blue is wonderful however, what isn’t good is the amount of leaf fall that is not cleared up. This creates a hazard for all cyclists and walkers alike

The draft map seems to link in all key points in this part of the city. I look forward to the day when I can safely cycle in a cycle lane to roath without the hazard of cars passing me so closely I can touch them.

The cycling routes are over the top particularly in relation to allensbank Rd and Llanishen Street.

Yes

4) Do you agree with the proposed new routes for walking and cycling (dashed blue line)?

No

Please comment:

As above allensbank Rd and Llanishen St are residential roads and shouldn't have cycle routes. No consideration to residents parking needs or disabilities

9) Do you have any other comments on the Draft Active Travel Network Map for Cardiff?

No.improving cycleways on artery roads like North Rd or Newport Rd make sense but, not everyone does or wants to ride so the funds earmarked are disapportionately weighted to one group or people, with little to no consideration or elderly or disabled persons and residents.
