Bristol has public scooters for hire,could some of these be set up in Cardiff as a trial?more bins on walking routes to reduce litter from pedestrians,foot pedal ones so multiple people aren't touching bin lid daily and spreading germs/covid would be amazing and stop smells and seagulls emptying bins.cycle route from Clare gardens direct to nos da and river rather than having to go up to cathedral road.

Clare St/Neville St: With the Tudor St and Despenser Gardens developments underway and proposed - it makes obvious sense to join both of these with a proper cycle lane that would link to Wellington St via Neville St (it also makes sense to join the cycle routes between Tudor St and Wellington St). Currently the pavements along Clare St are in a terrible state of repair, suffering from subsidence and creating easily flooded sections that force pedestrians (including women with buggies, children, elderly) into the busy street to pass.

A bus gate operating during rush hour between Clare Gardens and Despenser Gardens would massively reduce traffic along Clare St while at the same time promoting bus routes as a unique option for travelling through the gate - this would also promote greater active travel as people walk to and from the bus stops of the buses they're using. Further gains in the area would be made by commuters affected potentially switching to active travel methods such as cycling instead of using their cars. Yet more local people might be encouraged to walk/cycle as that route becomes more pleasant/easier to cross/the parks are used more. Also the benefit to cleaner air, as surely Clare St must suffer quite badly from air pollution.

There is a lack of detail on the nature of the walking routes and cycle routes. Are the walking routes pedestrian only? Are you planning on making some of these cycle routes e.g King's Road which has cars parked on both sides, one-way for cars? Or access only for cars to residents? It's difficult to envisage what some of these routes will look like. But in terms of having more cycle routes - bring them one!

Reduce the cycleroutes. Spending a lot of money on the minority with no consideration for walkers residents disabled or elderly persons. It's over the top and not proportionate. K agree putting cycleroutes on the main artery roads like Newprt Road or Cowbridge, but not residential roads like allensbank or cathedral. I certainly do not agree with putting dedicated routes mixed with walkers next to the river, ivesee multiple cyclists already doing 20 to 39mph down tgat stretch hitting kids parents and dogs alike.
